South Downs, West Sussex: First Time Using The Phoxx 1V2 Tent Camp
Early-autumn 2024
This camp was on my walk on the South Downs Way from Amberley to Winchester.
This great little spot and I set up on the grass track behind a bush where I cooked a hot meal on a wet and rainy evening. I wasn’t disturbed and heard no one apart from cattle in an adjacent field.

This was an awesome spot and I loved it but it wasn’t where I had originally planned to camp.
I had planned to camp a few miles before in a forest but when I got there, I had a bad feeling that something wasn’t right. I soon discovered fallen trees that were used as seating and half cut barrels used as bbqs. There…
