Jurassic Coast, Dorset: Phoxx 1V2 Camp
Early November 2024
I had planned to reach this spot before dark and continue along the coast a bit further to find a spot away from the coast guard building.
That all changed when I got caught out by the dark and the mist. So, for obvious safety reasons, I settled where I settled.
I didn’t know there were people living in the nearby buildings until the mist cleared later in the night and I saw lights on.
Anyway, it was an interesting walk in the dark which made for a memorable night. I didn’t see anyone all night and slept quite well despite the wind.
Heads up:
A good internet connection.
A really quiet area in the colder months and on the South West Path so expect some visitors in the warmer months.
