A Hampshire Camp | Bivvi & Cowboy Camp in One

An interesting camp. I found a great spot alongside a stream and set up the hammock. The night sky was beautiful, and plenty of bats took to the air at dusk.

Alongside a Railway Line in Hampshire | DD Hammock Camp
Mid-summer 2024
I headed out to Hampshire again for a quick camp and a night out.
I wished I’d brought the bivvi with me, as there were many more suitable spots, and I found it difficult to find a couple of suitable trees in a suitable area.

I spent a wonderful night out in the forest with the DD Hammock. I took the hammock as I didn’t know the area, but I knew there would be plenty of suitable trees.

A Woodland in Wiltshire | DD Hammock Camp

It had been a while since I’d spent a night in a decent woodland, and it had also been a while since I’d used the DD Hammock.
