New Forest
Between Brockenhurst and Sway Hampshire

I apologise for yet another camp near Brockenhurst. I made a few poor decisions this evening, which resulted in a change of plans.
I unknowingly boarded the wrong train which meant getting off at the wrong station. I impulsively headed off in a direction that I have never been before to an area of the forest that I have never visited.
I wandered around the heathland as night was fast approaching, searching for a couple of suitable trees. The heathland was still boggy and I couldn’t find two suitable trees that were close to each other.
I headed back to the road and headed along it towards Sway until I found a patch of wonky trees by a road and alongside the train track. This is where I made camp in the dark.

Getting there:
This camp is almost right in the middle between Brockenhurst and Sway. I walked from Brockenhurst train station which is 1.7 miles/2.7 km away. Sway train station is 1.6 miles/2.5 km away.
Heads up:
Nothing really to mention. The road wasn’t busy during the night and the trains finished running just after midnight.
I left at 5am as there were a few well trodden paths by the camp and I could envisage seeing some dog walkers in the morning.
