Berghaus Repairhaus: How I Got Two Jackets’ Zips Fixed for Free

I don’t use affiliate links or sponsorships. Everything here is based on my own experience and paid for by me.
I recently used Berghaus’ Repairhaus service to fix the large zips on the front of my two jackets. The process was simple, free and got my jackets back in working order. If you’ve got Berghaus gear in need of routine repairs, this service is well worth using. Here’s how it works and what you can expect.
How It Works

- Fill in the Form
Provide as much detail about the item and the repair needed. Adding a few photos really helps. You can find the official Repairhaus form on Berghaus’ website here. - Send It In
Berghaus will confirm if the repair can be done and provide instructions for sending your item. You will have to pay for the initial cost of posting your item to them, but the repair itself and the return shipping are free - Repairs Team
The repair team at Berghaus handles the repair. They aim to get your gear repaired and get you back out in the elements. - Get It Back
They aim to get your repaired gear back to you within 21 days of its arrival. If your gear can’t be repaired, Berghaus has other options, such as offering a replacement (if within the guaranteed lifespan) or giving you a 30% discount on a new item.
My Results
Both jackets came back with fully repaired zips and work perfectly. The service was fast, reliable and easy to use.
Final Thoughts
If you own Berghaus gear, Repairhaus is a great service to extend the life of your equipment. It saves you money, reduces waste to landfill and expands the life of your kit.
I’ve also used a similar repair service for my boots through Scarpa, which you can read about here.
