Disused Bird Hide, Dorset: Dutch Hooped Bivvi Camp
End of October 2022.
I came across this rundown bird hide a long time ago and promised to return.
So tonight was the night. A rather blustery, wet and windy late October evening.
I had a litter pick around the hide and found a plastic bottle, a drinks’ can and some pallet strapping.
I stayed dry in the bird hide, and it was a wise, and more comfortable move to stay here.
I only headed to this area which is made up of heathland and some forest at this time of year when things are quieter. I would never camp here in the summer months.
