A Woodland in Wiltshire | DD Hammock Camp

    Mid-July 2026

It had been a while since I’d spent a night in a decent woodland, and it had also been a while since I’d used the DD Hammock.

Woodland, Wiltshire: Phoxx 1V2 Tent Camp

    Late March 2025

This place made me feel so good. I wasn’t sure why. The whole time I was there, I didn’t see another person until I returned to my car the next day.

Chalk Hill Cargving, Wiltshire: Nortent Skjul Bivvi Camp

    Mid-September 2025

I headed out to check out this wonderful chalk hill carving in Wilshire, and to find a spot to camp close by.

The chalk carving was on the side of a large, open hill with plenty of large grass areas, but I ended up camping in a not-so-ideal spot nearby.

After the chalk carving, I tried to find the local trig point to bag. But…
