I knew there was a forest nearby, with an east facing edge.
So I took the #ddhammock , and set it up perfectly, for the beautiful dawn sky

This is one of many woodlands close to where I live that offers plenty of pretty good places to camp.
The whole area is a little way from car parks and villages, so it tends to be a little quieter that the areas areas.
It’s made up of many pockets of woodland and heathland which can be boggy during the colder months.…
