Boot Repairs And Resole Service From Scarpa UK

This site has no affiliate links or sponsorships – I don’t get paid or make money from any of the links here. Every bit of content is created and funded by me alone, with the goal of providing an honest and helpful resource for the camping community.
I’d like to begin by saying that this is not an advert and I haven’t been paid to write any of this. I simply want to share information about a fantastic service I recently used – and one that I hope others find really helpful.
Below are some of the details about the service from Scarpa UK and a brief explanation of the process I went through.

Scarpa UK offers a boot repairs and resole service that could save you money while extending the life of your boots, and preventing them from unnecessarily going to landfill waste.
My experience with this service has been entirely positive. The process was very straightforward, and in my case, completely free – included both the postage and the resoling of my boots.
Each case may differ, and there are several options available. I recommend checking out the details on Scarpa’s website and discussing your specific situation with them directly and listening to what they suggest. The link to the service can be found here.

I’ve owned my boots for about seven years and during a wild camping trip in the New Forest, the sole began to peel off. Instead of throwing them away, I looked around for repair service and discovered Scarpa UK’s boot repair and resole service.

A brief overview of the process
Scarpa recommends finding your footwear on their website and then checking for the ‘ Resole is Possible’ Logo. If the logo is present, it indicates that your shoes or boots can have their life extended.
In my case, I own an older pair of Scarpa Peak GTX which are no longer featured on the website. I completed the form at the bottom of the ‘ repair and resole ’ page, attached a few images and described the problem. Scarpa wrote back to say that, The Peak is definitely a repairable boot, and they would be keen to see how they can help.

They stated that the inspection process was typically around 2 weeks, with repair times on top of this. I was instructed to clean and dry them to allow for a quicker inspection and turnaround time and wait for further instructions regarding postage.
Postage
Following on from the initial email from Scarpa, DPD emailed me with a prepaid postage form to print out and attach to my parcel.
There are a few repair and resole options available. One option involves sending your footwear to Scarpa’s experts in Italy, but this will obviously take longer and comes at a cost. The other option is to use one of Scarpa’s UK partners which are located around the UK.

In my case, Scarpa sent my boots to one of their UK partners who resoled them and returned them to me via DPD. I am really happy with the results. The boots are awesome and have a new lease of life. I hope that they will live another seven years and see many more adventures.

Overall, I had a great experience with this service and I cannot complain about anything. The communication from Scarpa, DPD and their repair partner was very good, and the best part was that it was free.
So, if you want to extend the life of your Scarpa boots and wish for them to live another day – I highly recommend checking out this service. The link to the service can be found here.
