Graffham Down, West Sussex:First Time Using The Phoxx 1V2 Tent Camp
Early September 2024
This was the first camp on the South Downs Way on my walk from Amberley to Winchester.
This great little spot and I set up on the grass track behind a bush where I cooked a hot meal on a wet and rainy evening. I wasn’t disturbed and heard no one apart from cattle in an adjacent field.

Grovely Wood/ Castle, Salisbury, Wiltshire: Phoxx 1V2 Tent Camp

Moor Copse, Reading, Berkshire: Nortent Skjul Bivvi Camp Setup

This place is a real gem. It offers beautiful woodland with winding forest tracks, plenty of open meadows, a river, and best of all – no people. I only saw one other person during my time there, and that was after I’d walked through the entire area and brushed the A340 and its car park, and that’s where I saw a dog walker. …

Lewesdon Hill, Dorset: Nortent Skjul Bivvi Camp On The Highest Point In Dorset

Lewesdon hill is the highest point in Dorset at 279 metres, I thought it would be a good place to check out.
The walk to the actual hill is less than a mile (1.6 km) from Broadwindsor, which is where I started. Komoot calls it an intermediate walk and it is uphill, but it is hardly a mountainous scramble.…

Fyfield Down, Wiltshire: Nortent Skjul Bivvi Camp
