A Quiet Evening in a Hampshire Forest (Phoxx 1V2 Camp)
End of March 2026
My plan was to bag three or four trig points, then find a spot to camp using the Phoxx 1V2 tent.
The weather was great and I have been close to this area before, so this was a new place to explore.

There are plenty of good spots in this area, such as woodland, open heath, flat grass and some boggy ground.
I eventually settled on a small grass patch among tall gorse bushes. I had a good night’s sleep, woke to a hard frost, made a coffee, and headed home.
